QUICK OVERVIEW

Xtreme Dog Crates and CarryMyDog.com have recognized the need for larger crates. Xtreme dog crates are not just larger, but they are stronger, the strongest crates available today. All our crates are High Anxiety crates. This means no escapes, ever. They are indestructible. They are generational.

Xtreme Dog Crates is introducing our newest design, the K9 Condo heavy-duty dog crate. This new design allows for your larger high anxiety dog in the big crate. It leaves the smaller crate available for the sidekick. Yes, where there's a big dog, you will usually find a smaller dog, the buddy, in the same house.

DETAILS

Our designs will accommodate most dogs. If you need a custom size, just let us know.

FUNCTION

We know many homes have a big dog, the super-size breed of dog. Whether the breed is outside or inside, he usually has a buddy, a smaller breed we like to call "a sidekick." They go everywhere together. They do everything together. Why not crate them together.

We designed our K9 Condo using our strongest steel, just like our  standard heavy-duty dog crates. If your larger dog, or if either dog, is a high anxiety dog or a noise phobic dog, we've got you covered.

The K9 Condo is guaranteed to be:

  • Escape Proof
  • Indestructible
  • Strongest crate made
  • Crate sizes optional - Holds 2 or more dogs

When you purchase something this strong, you want to be sure it is as advertised. Here are specs and components that make up the strongest heavy-duty dog crate made.

TESTIMONIALS

You will find can find a lot of great information on the Testimonial pages. A couple of things we would like to point out as you review the testimonials;

No reports of dogs chewing on their crates. When a dog chews on the crate and nothing moves, he stops chewing. Is that 100% of dogs, no but it is close. If a wire or something moves when they continue to chew, and, they keep chewing. If nothing moves, they stop. Nothing moves on Xtreme dog crates.

Testimonials for Xtreme Heavy Duty Dog Crates Banner

CRATE COMPONENTS

The Frame: 14 gauge 1" American-made steel tubing is used to create the frame. The smaller the gauge, the thicker the metal. Compare our 14 gauge steel to other crates when you can get them to tell you what gauge their frame is made of.

The Wire: The American-made steel wire we use has a diameter of 3/16ths. That's a big wire, folks. Compare to competitors' products if you can get them to tell you the diameter of their wire. A 3/16ths dia. wire has lots of room for a strong, robust spot weld of one wire to another.

Spot Welds: Our "Made in America" wire is spot-welded every 2", which means the openings in the steel wire are 2", not 3" and not 2" x 4". Why is a smaller opening the best size? A smaller opening means you have more spot welds. That means you have stronger welded steel wire. When that wire is used in the manufacture of our Xtreme steel dog crates, you automatically get a crate that is many times stronger than other steel and aluminum crates.

Drop Pin Assembly: All our crates are assembled using strong cylindrical pins. The pins drop into their openings without the use of tools. They are as strong or stronger than welding. They are quickly and easily removed too. This means you can assemble or disassemble any of our crates in just a very few minutes. This makes relocation easy. Now you can quickly disassemble the crate and take it with you on vacation or to for a visit to Grandma's house. No more kennel cough shots and dog boarding expenses. A wrench is required to fix the puppy partition into place.

The Door: The doors on all our crates are larger than most if not all doors on the market. This means no more scraping the dog's back when going in and out of the crate. The door requires only one lock since it is made of 14 gauge American-made steel. Some customers like to put additional locks on the door, and we're OK with that.

Door Locks: No matter the strength of any dog crate, it's only as strong as its door lock! Our Xtreme heavy-Deadbolt_Extreme_heavy_duty_dog_crates_outside_viewduty dog crates shine in every area of construction and convenience. One of the best places we shine is our door locks. We use deadbolts as door locks. These are Schlage deadbolts. Schlage is a trusted brand of deadbolts for over 50 years. These are the same kind of deadbolts you will find on the front door of your home. Take a look at the locks on other crates. Nobody comes close to the security provided by our Schlage deadbolts. A non-locking deadbolt comes with every crate. If you purchase a 54 x 54 or a 60 x 60, you will find 2 non-locking deadbolts on those crates included in the price. Locking deadbolts are available as an option.

The Pan: Every crate needs a floor. We don't want your dog sitting on a hot floor in the summer or aPan_Xtreme_heavy_duty_dog_crate_pan cold floor in the winter. You don't want your dog digging at your carpet or scratching your hardwood floor. Like the rest of this first quality dog crate, the pan is as good as it gets. They can attempt to chew it. They can scratch it, you know how they go at it like they were digging a hole in the back yard. They can do donuts on it and jump up and down on it. No matter how creative they get, they can't kick it out of the crate, guaranteed! Our crate pans are 24 gauge galvanized steel formed to create a strong crate floor with a 1/2" edge welded in the corners. The pans are not waterproof.

Powdercoat: We use a Copper Vein color on all our standard products. We use this color because it's great looking, plus it has additional UV protective components. This means it will last longer than other colors. This color is used industrial as the coating on patio furniture. We show 2 colors in the dropdown menu, which are optional. All Powdercoat used on Xtreme crates has to be a textured or "hammer" style powder coat. A smooth powder coat does not look good on the metal.

Dog Trainer talks about her new custom Xtreme dog crate

The following video was sent to us by one of our customers. Jennifer is the owner and trainer at Complete Dog Obedience in Alameda, CA. She explains why she purchased this Giant crate for her Malinois. Note: Our standard size heavy duty crates are built to the same specifications as the Giant crates with one exception: The Giant 54 and 60-inch crates have 2 non-keyed deadbolts. She put 2 deadbolts in simply for appearance.

CUSTOM KENNELS

Many Xtreme Dog Crate customers are owners of some very special custom heavy-duty dog crates. Please feel free to call to get information and a quote on your special crate, your size, and your design. We can change the size, color, partition, food and water dispensing, and much more. Just let us know what your crate should look like.

OPTIONS

2nd Deadbolt: A 2nd deadbolt, locking or non-locking, can be added when you order your new Xtreme heavy-duty dog crate. The drop-down menu will assist you in your selection.

Food & Water Assembly: Now, you can feed and water your dog without climbing into the crate to get the bowls, without cleaning up the food and water mess. The food and water assembly swings out for cleaning and refills. It swings in and locks in place until next time. This is an optional item. Please see the drop-down menu.

Color Change: Different colors are available as options. Check the drop-down color menu for availability. IfDouble_Crate_Xtreme_Dog_Crates_removeable you want a color not shown, give us a call.

Size and Partition Location: You can choose the size of both crates. If your size is not shown in the size menu, please call us to discuss the sizes you want us to make for you. We can make changes to suit your needs. The partition separating the two crates is solid steel. It is removable, not moveable. The puppy partition will be solid galvanized steel. It is held in place with two bolts. The nuts are welded to the crate. You will need a wrench to tighten these two bolts.

WARRANTY

We have over 11years of experience in the heavy-duty crate industry. We know that the #1 question among High Anxiety K9 and Noise Phobic dog owners have is: "what if my dog breaks out of this crate, what then?" That's understandable since their dog has escaped out of every crate they've ever purchased, you know, those "so-called" heavy-duty dog crates. If your dog escapes one of our heavy-duty locked dog crates we will refund your money.

Life will be different at your house when you put your dog into a genuine XTreme® heavy-duty dog crate!

MEASURING YOUR DOG

Nobody likes returns, right? Shipping costs for customer returns are very high. If you ordered a crate that turns out to be too small and you return it, you will be paying freight 3 times, the total of which will be more than you paid for your crate.

So please, measure your dog!

To get the length dimension simply measure nose to butt then add a minimum of 4 inches for comfort. Always "round up." It's not worth the risk to go smaller and hope your dog will fit.

Typically the width and height will be proportionate to the length. Once you know the length, you should be okay. But, if you have concerns about the height of the crate, just measure your dog in a sitting position. Measure from the floor, up the straight front legs to the top of his or her head. Then add any additional inches for ears and for comfort.

How long does it take to get my new escape-proof heavy-duty dog crate?

These indestructible heavy-duty dog crates are made to order. No two are exactly the same. The current lead time from order to shipping dock: for standard sizes is 4 to 6 business weeks plus travel time. If your new crate is a "custom" order, then please allow an additional week.
