Xtreme® Dog Crates ship for $250 when a rectangular crate and $350 when a square crate like 54 x 54 and 60 x 60.
Xtreme Dog Crates outside kennels ship for $500 per individual kennel. Note: Custom orders require a new quote for shipping charges. For 2 or more runs you should contact us for a freight quote.
Our products are usually large and heavy. This means they are palletized when delivered to the carrier. They are wrapped and strapped when the carrier takes possession of your crates or kennels. Your crate or kennel is shipped "LTL" which means "less than truckload." This generally means that nothing can be stacked on your palletized product.
Xtreme Dog Crates continues to search for that perfect packaging design and perfect carrier in order to assure your product arrives looking exactly how it did when it left the factory. We have not yet found those two perfect scenarios. Our search is ongoing.
By far the greater majority of our shipments arrive unscathed, ready for immediate use and looking just like they did when they left the factory. Sometimes the carrier's forklift just can't seem to go where it's supposed to, and there is damage to the shipment.
The trucking company will drop your pallet at your address at the end of your driveway. The carrier will not go down private roads to deliver shipments to your door. You will be responsible for moving the product from the end of your driveway on the street to your home.
TRACKING: We will provide you with a "Pro Number" which will be your tracking number as well as the ship date, carrier name, and ETA.
FIRST CONTACT: The carrier will call you 1 or 2 days before delivery to set a delivery appointment. A few of the things you need to know when setting your appointment are;
Someone 18 years of age or older must be on hand to sign for the shipment.
Your product will be delivered on a tractor-trailer; therefore, a "curbside" delivery will be made. Curbside means on the paved street. Unless you can convince them to do so, they will not deliver on a gravel road. They will not deliver to an address on a dead-end street. In these cases, you can have them delivered to a nearby parking lot or if you know someone, a loading dock. Then you can load it into your truck and take your product home.
Thank you.
