We have a great line of collapsible aluminum crates here at carrymydog.com. Our customers have appreciated their ability to contain their larger, stronger dogs. Most of all, our customers enjoy the mobility offered by our collapsible crates. They have enjoyed the capacity to transport their valuable canine friends in their vehicle. 

Until now, if you had one of the larger breeds they had to stay home or go to the kennel when the dog owner was out of town. Well, no more. This large collapsible dog crate will put an end to all that. Now you can take your large breed dog with you. Get mobile!

It is not recommended to use a collapsible dog crate if your pet has any difficult separation anxiety issues or is a Houdini escape artist dog. We recommend our strongest heavy duty stationary dog crates for these particular needs.

INSIDE DIMENSIONS

The dimensions of this crate are huge when you consider it is a collapsible aluminum crate. 48" long (that's 4 feet folks) and a much wider than competitor crates at 32" (almost 3 feet) and a respectable height of 33" which again, is almost 3 feet. This crate will hold the larger breed dogs with ease. Always measure your dog before deciding on crate size.

WEIGHT

Since aluminum crates are considerably lighter crates it is no surprise that this huge dog crate weighs in at only 57 Lbs. Using the 2 built-in top handles, most people can easily move the setup crate anywhere in the house with ease. It's even easier to move when in fully collapsed position.

DOOR SECURITY

The weakest part of any crate is the door. A larger crate means larger stronger dogs can be contained. This means certain points of security had to be redesigned. Door security is always a valid concern when deciding on your new crate. We have designed this all new door with a "Paddle Latch." It works similar to our other collapsible and stationary crates in that all you need do is slam the door closed. The latch will do the rest.

We still have the hole at the bottom of the door handles. This frequently goes unnoticed by the dog owner. That hole is there as a backup security measure. Just put a padlock or a carabineer through that hole and should your dog ever get past the paddle latch, the padlock or carabineer will prevent the door from opening, period.

We designed a new larger stronger striker plate as well. The stronger striker plate has a shroud over the slider in the latch. This limits access to the slider by your dog's paw which means a stronger more secure latch.

A STRONGER DOOR

The door bars are 3/8" diameter solid aluminum and welded top and bottom. Shorter door bars mean greater strength. This design makes the bars more difficult to bend or break. These solid bars are approximately 2" apart. The addition of the crossbar further strengthens the entire door. The larger paddle latch keeps the door closed. Please note the full length piano hinge is holding the left side of the door. In addition, our welded rivet construction provides long lasting security. With all these door security features you can trust this door to stay closed! A reminder that if your dog has severe separation anxiety or noise phobia issues we would refer you to our numerous models of heavy duty stationary dog crates.

WELDED RIVET CONSTRUCTION

You don't need to "assemble" anything. No tools required. Welded rivet construction means that your crate will continue to provide the service you need for many years to come. 

WARRANTY

These great collapsible aluminum crates have a Lifetime Warranty for materials and workmanship. This simply means that we will replace any defective part if the defect is due to the material, the manufacturing process or is shown to be defective under normal and intended use, for as long as you own the crate.

SHIPPING

Yes, this huge crate once shipped via UPS, however, due to crates arriving with some degree of damage, we are forced to ship only by truck freight. Truck freight is expensive but your new crate will arrived without damage. For the time being, shipping charges on this beautiful crate are $350.
