A stronger heavy duty dog crate of steel construction is now available. The design is simplistic which in a heavy duty dog crate is always preferred. Both side and end loading models are available along with the great European style crates. These crates are escape proof and indestructible.
Simplicity and strength, two words that describe these heavy duty dog crates.
Before we move on let's talk about how to measure your dog and how to select the correct size crate.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG: Forget about how much your dog weighs. Measure your dog from his or her nose to base of the tail. Then, add 2 to 4" for comfort. Check the drop-down box above where it says "Select HD Crate Size." Always round up. Why do you round up? You select the next larger crate so your dog will be comfortable. Also, a big consideration is the fact that returning a crate that turns out to be too small is so costly that it's cheaper to keep it and sell it yourself after you have purchased the correct size.
MEASURE YOUR DOORS: Measuring your doors goes along with measuring your dog. If you have a large, strong dog breed, then a large crate will be needed. These crates come assembled. If you purchase a 37"D x 45"W x 33"H, you will need a door that is at least 33" wide. If your front door is 29" or 30" you will need to find a wider door or consider removing a window to get your crate inside your home.
NOTE FROM MANUFACTURER: Dimensions shown are for the size of the box not including the latch. The latch sticks out an additional 1.5" off the front of the door. Remember to check the width of doorways and other openings to ensure that you can get your crate into your home. This crate does not collapse or come apart.
The primary component of this strong crate is the 6-gauge wire. Please remember that the lower the number, the thicker the wire. The 6-gauge wire is just over an eighth inch in thickness. This means that when you put one wire on top of another of the same size, you have a bit more than a quarter inch of wire to weld. You can understand then that the thicker the wire, the stronger the weld, the stronger the weld, the stronger the crate.
The frame is made using 1.25" Galvanized Steel tubing
"If your dog breaks this crate we will replace it anytime within the next 3 years." The warranty is just that simple because we know your dog can't damage these crates.
All these most robust crates ship completely assembled and ready to use.
How long does it take to get my crate? Standard lead time or production time is 2 to 3 weeks plus transit time. This means that most customers are looking at a month. If you need n all steel crates with a much shorter lead time click here.
