Finally, a forward looking dog ramp design that brings the best in safety, convenience and good joint health for your dogs.
The Ramp4Paws pet ramp utilizes design technology beyond that of other ramps available in the market today. The Limited Lifetime Warranty demonstrates the manufacturer's confidence in the ramp.
Many years ago after I have moved into a new home I noticed the Chihuahua across the street with a cast on its right front leg. The cast covered the entire length of the leg. That must have been uncomfortable.
I asked the dog owner what had happened. He tells me that his dog broke his leg jumping off the bed!
Whether it's a Chihuahua or a German Shepherd we don't want broken legs and we don't want extra strain on doggie joints, muscles and nerves. Your dog might look big, rough and tough but each and every time he or she jumps in or out of your truck bed, there is a shock to the joints and actually, to the entire skeletal structure.
We all want our pets to live as long as possible. We give them special food. We spend time walking or running them. We train them. We do whatever we can think of to extend their life. A Ramp4Paws will help your dog enjoy a higher quality of life.
The 65" ramp is designed to fit station wagons, most SUVs and small trucks.
Please be aware: From the ground measure up to your bumper or open tailgate. This dimension shoud not exceed 31". If higher than 31" the slope may be too steep for your dog.
The Volvo, BMW and full sized Range Rover have rear doors that are split in half. This means the window portion lifts up while the lower portion folds down to rest on the top of the bumper.
This adds several inches to our magic dimension of 31" making the angle too steep for your dog to comfortably navigate the ramp.
The bumper on the Audi Q7 has no rubber surface on which to rest the ramp's rubber feet. It also slopes slightly making it difficult to position the ramp securely.
The 37" 10-link ramp is designed for vans with sliding side doors, two-door cars, and small sets of stairs.
Vans, especially those with sliding side doors, are typically lower to the ground and open wide enough to fit the 37" ramp nicely
The magic number for ground-to-vehicle entry height for the 37" ramp is 17".
This dimension will accomodate most vans, 2 door sedans and a small set of stairs.
The 65 Inch 18 link ramp can be used in 4 door sedans when the Ramp4Paws Strap is used. The rear doors of these vehicles do not open wide enough for the ramp to rest securely on the seat of the vehicle so the ramp must be placed at an angle. The issue then is one of stability.
NOTE: The strap is not recommended for use with the side-entry of SUVs. The ground-to-seat height is too steep.
One end of the Strap has a padded metal
hook. Place hook on the fully open door.
The other end of the Strap is a "loop" fastened
with Velcro®. Wrap the strap around the end link
of the ramp which will rest on the vehicle seat.
The loop is then refastened with Velcro® which
will stabilize the ramp.
After positioning the hook and loop, adjust
the Strap with the buckle to tighten the
Now the 65" 18-link ramp is stable and ready
