CarryMyDog.com has provided heavy duty dog crates to dog owners for over 8 years now. In that time we have provided the strongest models to serve the separation anxiety dog owner community better. In all that time we have never seen a crate specifically designed for severe separation anxiety and noise phobic dogs, until now. This is the strongest heavy duty dog crate anywhere on the planet. It is certainly the safest kennel for separation anxiety or noise phobic dogs. No other dog crate comes close to this design for strength and safety. Please do read about all the features this crate offers. These are essential design features which will not only keep your dog contained but contained as safely as possible.
This webpage was written for those who want to know why they should make an investment in a heavy duty dog crate of this type. We have been as detailed as possible, so you will understand why this crate is the very best solution for escape artists, separation anxiety, and noise phobic dogs.
NOTE: The following features are in addition to the standard features list shown later on this page.
You may have noticed by now that the slam latch is not a keyed latch or lock. Don't you just hate it when you want to get your dog out of his or her crate but you can't find the key?
Here are 2 reasons why you will never need a key again. The holes in the door handles are there as a backup. These have always been standard on all our aluminum crates. Just insert a carabineer or a padlock through this hole as the first back-up door locking opportunity.
Something new has been added to the heavy duty dog crate for separation anxiety dogs. 4 - super secure butterfly latches have been added to the door. They are stronger and better looking than the previous method of securing the door. Bring on your biggest and toughest separation anxiety dogs. They will be no match for this strongest of heavy duty
The butterfly latches at the top and bottom of the door act as another way of making sure the door doesn't come open. Most dogs push on the door, but some pull inward. It doesn't matter if your strong escape artist dog is a pusher or a puller, he won't make any progress with tweaking or opening this door.
I think you will agree that engineering has covered all the bases for keeping the door locked down tight. Bring your best Houdini dog. This crate can take it!
Never under estimate the ability of a dog with extreme separation anxiety or noise phobia. Dogs are patient and determined. Their mission in life, while you're gone, is to escape from their dog crate. They have hours to plot, plan, and experiment.
The inside locking mechanism is of particular interest to the escape artist dog. The locking mechanism is located on the door. It looks different than the rest of the crate. It's inside the crate in full view completely accessible to your creative escape artist Houdini dog. To make sure this crate is escape proof, we designed a lock with the following safety features;
It just makes sense, right!
The door bars are 3/8" solid welded aluminum bars are specifically designed to
prevent your dog from chewing and breaking both the bars and canine teeth. Since all bars are solid, there are no tubes to compress, so these bars will hold their strength and structure. These bars are only 3/4" apart. Your separation anxiety dog will not be able to get anything close to a "jaw bite" on these bars. It will keep your Houdini dog safely contained. Since the bars are 3/4" apart, the number of bars will vary with crate size.
The crate in the photo has 11 solid vertical bars on the door designed to minimize canine tooth damage while providing both ventilation and an outside view for your dog.
The size, shape, and quantity of the vent holes have been changed to meet safety needs of this super heavy duty dog crate for separation anxiety and noise phobic dogs.
The size of the vent holes has been reduced to 1/2" diameter. They are now circular in shape. This size and shape are meant to lessen the opportunity for your dog to chew at the holes.
The potential to "hook a tooth" in the holes has been significantly reduced.
Vent holes have been placed on all three sides to allow your dog plenty of ventilation and maintain the ambient temperature of the room in which the crate is placed.
Consider the fact that the vent holes do not go all the way to the bottom preventing male dogs from reaching your carpet or floor should they have an accident while you're gone.
NOTE: This is a standard feature listing before adding the unique separation anxiety features above.
This heavy duty dog crate comes with a free 2-year replacement warranty. This crate has been tested by real live escape artist dogs. We are very sure of its' ability to hold your dog. That's why the warranty on this crate is a "no questions asked" replacement warranty.
This heavy duty dog crate for separation anxiety dogs is costly to produce. We understand that this is a lot of money for a dog crate but after all, it is the strongest and safest dog crate of its' size and design to be found anywhere and, the warranty is second to none. After all, the cost of a couch, chair, door and door facing or vet bill could more than pay for this crate.
If you have a separation anxiety, noise phobic or agressive dog that needs dependable, safe containment then look no further. This is the crate that will bring peace to your home and safety to your dog and your property.
This heavy duty dog crate ships assembled via LTL truck freight. Canada and Alaska are the only locations we will ship to outside the contiguous lower 48 states. Please call for shipping quotes.
I wanted to check in and give you an update regarding Sebastian. His new crate is working out great, and I have been much less stressed knowing he won't break out and potentially hurt himself. He is still having anxiety issues, but with the help of a behavioral dog trainer, we have been helping Sebastian get more comfortable. The trainer even commented on what a nice crate we had! Thank you so much for all your help during the purchasing process and for such a quality product!

I received the crate and I can say my Tibetan Mastiff loves it. He will lay in it throughout the day and doesn't go crazy in it. Money well spent. Thank you so much. I attached a picture of him and the crate. Thank you so much.
We're so, so happy to announce, that we just received our high anxiety dog crate! And OMG is that thing sturdy and safe for our Ernie-Baby! But yet so light and easily maneuverable...
We adopted Ernie, a one-year-old pit bull, at the beginning of December 2016 and got him a regular wire kennel and quickly found out that he has SEVERE separation anxiety in addition to Houdini-Escape-Skills. He'd get out of the closed cage, hurt himself and wouldn't even notice, due to the high pain tolerance of this breed.
The high anxiety dog crate is expensive compared to other crates, yes, but it's an investment I would recommend to anyone with a high anxiety dog, who's escaping his/her cage. It's so much better than having to invest the same amount of money in a vet, who would have to fix up your dog after hurting him-/herself in the process of escaping. There have been dogs that impaled themselves while breaking out of wire kennels...broken teeth, jaws, and bones... Nothing you want for your companion!
Ernie loves his crate, he went in it right after we unpacked it, started barking at us from inside, telling us it's his domain, and even started burying his bones in it. It's not as open as normal crates and has more of a den-like feeling which he seems to enjoy and it gives him a feeling of safety inside.
We are so thankful for the amazing customer support and quick responses to our inquiries and emails along the way. All in all, this purchase was the best thing we could have done for our dog. Kennel training will now be fun for Ernie AND us, and we finally know that our fur-baby is safe when we have to leave him at home.
Thank you, Bill Beavers and team!
P. S. If anyone is skeptical about buying this cage because of the long waiting period, please don't! This cage is DEFINITELY worth the wait!!!!

Here is a comment from a man of few words. He purchased the High Anxiety crate for his son and his dog. Here's what he had to say....
My son has his crate. His dog tried!
A huge thank you to Bill at www.carrymydog.com
My daughter rescued our Elvis a year ago. He didn't come with any history and she quickly learned he has extreme separation anxiety.
As I explained to Bill, he is "Houdini." He escaped out of her front door, chewed through a fiberglass crate and the last escape way terrifying. He injured himself during the escape out of a wire crate.
Bill was quick to assist us and sent the crate out ASAP. Many thanks!! We now have peace of mind that our Elvis is safe. The crate is well built and very secure.
It has been three weeks and no escapes.
Happy New Year!

"Just received my HA crate, High Anxiety Crate for my storm phobic Belgian Malinois that can rip through and rip up most everything. Not with this crate. It is very sturdy and lots of air holes that are small and narrowly spaced bars. This crate really limits his options which in itself is calming. I know he can't break out and he can't hurt himself. I don't believe there are any other kennels on the market that competes with this. I have set it up in a closet space where I can use drapes to shut out the evil lightening. I have placed it on the packing material which is 2 inch thick foam to minimize any chance of static electricity and minimize thunder rumbling. It is plenty big as he hates being in small places too. I want to thank Bill for all his excellent customer service in helping me get this kennel. It is a big relief knowing I have a safe place to put him and nothing can be destroyed.. So if you have a dog that can rip through plastic crates, bend up metal crates, and cut up their mouth on crates with too large holes, this one solves it all."
The Strongest Heavy Duty Crate for Separation Anxiety Dogs has changed our lives. We can now put our dog in that crate and leave the house and not have to worry about him breaking out or hurting himself while he's in there. After all the other expensive crates we've bought that didn't work I was skeptical to buy another expensive one, considering this crate was double the price of the other ones that didn't work. This is the best investment I've ever made. It gave my fiancé and me our lives back.. We're now able to go out stress free!! It's amazing. Thank you so much for creating this sturdy and safe crate. I am so grateful.
He got the name Banner after "Bruce Banner" the Hulk because when he was left in any other cage, he would destroy it like The Hulk!
Thank you again so much,
Best crate money can buy!
My dog is a rescue that suffers from severe separation anxiety. When left alone she destroys anything in her path; from garage doors to French doors to windows to blinds, you name it, chances are she has left her mark on it. It had gotten to the point where I was bringing her to work with me everyday, simply because she was starting to cause physical harm to herself. I had bought every indestructible crate on the market and my dog Molly had escaped, scratched, or chewed her way through every one of them. I was out of options until I stumbled upon the HA-500 which is made especially for dogs like Molly.
This style crate is extremely sturdy and durable, yet lightweight, which makes it really convenient to travel with. The design of this crate may look like a jail cell but this is exactly what they need. Dogs like Molly with this type of disorder have been used to breaking out of cheap crates all their life, and in the beginning, they will try like there is no tomorrow to escape, but later realize it is not going to happen.
I love my dog, and I hate having to crate her, but for me, this crate is the lesser of two evils. Had I not found a safe crate to hold her she would have seriously injured herself.
I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Bill Beavers for helping me throughout my stressful process. He is one of the best customer service reps I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
I just picked up the new crate today, and you have no idea how unbelievably relieved I feel already for the first time since adopting Berni. Thank you so much for arranging to get this made and shipped to me. Berni has been in it three times so far this evening, just for brief periods, and I can tell she is still in the “no prob, I’ll figure out how to bust out” stage… by the end of the week, she’ll of course realize she is the one who is busted as it is very obvious that there is no way she can escape this one or damage it in even the slightest way. But I know she’ll try, and that’s ok, she has to go through her process.
What I wasn’t prepared for is how safe I feel about her being in this crate! I love the amount of ventilation and the smoothness of the material, this is worth the expense in every way. It was a huge investment, but my joy and relief of getting my life back is undeniable, and I send you and your company one great big hug, thank you!!!!
I’m attaching 2 pictures fyi. Btw, I love that your company is veteran owned. Only you guys would know how to take care of this kind of
situation with such expertise :)
Take care and many blessings to you and your family for the holidays and New Year,
We both are excited to own a durable prison cell and comfy home for temp Rudy and soon a storm comfort zone for my goofy lab.
Unless the door hinge side gives out, that thing isn't gonna break during my lifetime.
Merry Christmas to all and a safe new year!
